Aromatherapy and Raindrop Technique in Falmouth, ME

Essential oils are today’s natural miracle remedies, yet the practice of using essential oils has been around for thousands of years. In fact, using essential oils dates back to the ancient Egyptians. The purpose of this article is to share with you information on Essential Oils that can help you make wise choices.Especially as you start to incorporate them into your life to improve your health and well being.   So exactly what are essential oils? You can consider essential oils as the “life blood” of a plant. They circulate through all the plant tissue and carry nutrition into the cells and waste products out. Thus, the “essential” part… without them, the plant would die! Here’s the interesting thing: when high quality essential oils are applied to your skin, they do many of the same tasks as they do while inside the plant. They quickly permeate the cell walls of your skin to deliver nutrition and remove waste. As they do this, they help to clean the receptor sites of your cells… receptors that are easily disrupted by heavy metals and petrochemicals (the chemicals found in plastic). This cleansing effect helps to restore balance to your body, which ultimately helps you to feel better.Notice I said high quality essential oils. That’s because not all oils are created equal. There are three types of essential oil: fragrance, food and therapeutic grade. With Therapeutic Oils, all of the compounds are left in tact so that you can experience the fully health benefits that Mother Nature intended. The purpose of Raindrop Technique is to stimulate every organ, muscle and bone of the body at a cellular level through the use of medicinal oils. This treatment detoxifies the body, boosting the immune system and bringing the body into structural and electrical balance. Each of the oils used are anti inflammatory, anti bacterial/viral/parasitic in nature, helping to release toxins or disease in the body. The oils are absorbed through the skin and travel through the blood stream and travel the nerve pathways and detoxify the organs of the body. The oils stay in the body up to a week where they detoxify the body through the skin, bladder and colon. Raindrop gets its name in part because the oils are dispensed like little drops of rain from a height of 6” above the back and very lightly massaged along the vertebrae and back muscles. • Ginny has done a wonderful job helping my son recover quicker from his gynecomastia surgery. Through the use of lymphatic massage, she has been able to help his lymphatic system move the excess fluid buildup from his chest more efficiently. She has also been working to smooth out the effected muscles in his chest to reduce scare tissue build up. Ginny is professional, conscientious and knowledgeable. Terrific massage therapist.

  • Your Review I had a wonderful massage here while visiting from FL. It's too bad I'm not local, or I would return often for this service. The therapist was knowledgeble, intuitive, and professional. I highly recommend her. Debi

  • I've had a lot of massages (the last one at a 5-star resort while on vacation) and I was so impressed with Ginny. She has a thorough knowledge and provided an informed assessment of my stress points after a calming and exhaustive massage. I will be definitely returning and referring to my friends in southern Maine. Worth the trip to Falmouth.

  • My experience was wonderful from the start. Ginny has a way of making you feel comfortable from the minute you meet her. I was stressed rushing from another appointment to make my appointment with her and she put me at ease immediately. I had some specific areas that were causing me problems and she worked them out wonderfully and the hot stones were very soothing and helpful with getting my muscles softened up. What a lovely addition. She carefully spent time from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. Very healing touch and an interested listener so she knew just how to help me. I've been neglecting myself for too long. I booked another appointment before I left. My arm/shoulder area were markedly better the next day.
